- Torque Spec for Screws:
- Optic plate to slide: 14-18 in/lbs
- Optic to optic plate: 12-14 in/lbs
- Rear iron sight to plate: 10-12 in/lbs
- Grip screws: 18-20 in/lbs
- Trigger guard screws: 5 in/lbs
- Loctite: 246 high temp blue Loctite is used on the following screws. Requires 24 hours to fully cure.
- Grip screws
- Optic screws
- Ejector screw
- Extractor screw
- Rear iron sight screws and set screw
- Optic plate screws
- Front sight screw
Note: When applying blue Loctite, start at the base of the threads and apply a small drop. This drop will spread evenly to the rest of the threads when the screw is tightened.
